For my Voron I needed a simple filament sensor. Since the simple ones you can buy only have a metal strip to scan, there was always the problem after a runout that when the filament was pushed back it would get wedged in the sensor. So I made one that used a roller-operated micro switch. The original one is designed to mount to the back of a Voron which has a 3mm backboard and 3mm tape. To make it a little more universal, I have uploaded a version with a separate mounting distance, which you can simply use in the slicer in height.
In addition to the printed parts you will need:
1 Roller operated Microswitch, z.B. https://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B08734MSDD/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_image_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
1 JST-XH, 2,54 male, z.B. https://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B082ZLYRRN/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
2 self-tapping screws M2x10
I printed the whole thing in ASA carbon, but in principle you can also use PLA, PETG or whatever
Update: Added versions for transverse mounting and double-sided pushfit

Post-Printing =============
- After printing, it is recommended to clean the filament hole with a 2mm drill so that the filament slides through smoothly
- It is recommended to fix the JST connector with a drop of superglue before soldering
- I wired the switch as a "normally closed" contact, if you need a normally open contact then simply use a different pin.
- After assembly, check whether the switch is activated by the filament, if not you have to correct the roller bracket slightly. I have noticed that the switching points vary slightly on the linked switches
