This is a quick example how you can quickly design a ring by using the model "ring with big plate (very versatile)" with any existing *.stl. Especially the improved CUT-Feature in PrusaSlicer 2.6. is very helpful.
- Load the 3D-Data of the figure you want to put on the ring into PrusaSlicer
- add the 3D data from “ring with big plate (very versatile)” into the prusa sclicer as well
- Cut and resize the figure - at the end it has to fit onto the ring plate
- Merge the figure with the ring plate No you can determine how deep the figure dives into the ring plate
- use paint-on supports to paint in the inner of the ring plate, choose support for suppoert enforces only
- Slice it to your needs (I used 0.10mm detail) and print it
- enjoy
