I didn't have enough screws, and I wanted to connect a cover to my fans. So I created these pins.

WARNING! You have to have no stringing! This model contains narrow gaps. If they are clogged by strings, it won't work, or it'll require a lot of cleanup. So dry your filament and test your stringing before you blame me. Or print on a resin printer using ABS-like resin.
I included a photo of a failed print with non-dried PET-G as a warning. I also included a photo of a pin I was able to rescue, and pins already mounted. I am sorry I didn't get a photo of a first, best batch, but I was in a hurry to actually use them, and I'm reluctant to take them out.
I designed it to work well with 4mm thick fan wall and 2mm dust filter. It does work for me. You can scale model longer or shorter by quite a lot and it will still work.
My print file includes a round support that, for me, was easy enough to peel off. I also put 20 of them on the platter, because I assume you need 4 or 8 per fan and up to half of the print may fail (I don't believe in no stringing). Of course, with 3mf it'll be easy enough for you to increase or decrease the amount of pins you print.
