How I Designed This
Using PTC Creo Elements, created cantilevered sections that would apply pressure to the knob when press fitted. resulting pattern evolved into maze pattern so went with it. Added a gear head for look. 1 side is beveled so have choice as to which side faces out - flat or beveled.
