How to make a Braille Textplate only with Prusaslicer?
First you need a Braille Font.
Download and install a Braille Font, for example from https://www.dafont.com/de/braille.font
Start Prusaslicer V2.6 or newer.
Add a shape box.
Right mouse click on this shape box: select add part / text: this should be the readable text
Again right mouse click on this shape box: select add part / text: this should be the braille text.
Edit the readable text for example "Printables", select a readable font, adjust the size
Edit the Braille text to the same for example "Printables", select the just installed Braille Font, adjust the size.
Move the Text-parts to place you want.
Adjust the size of the Shape-Box, that both Text-parts fits on the Shape-Box.
Edit the readable text: Select "Use surface" and "Subtracted". Edit "Depth" for exampel 0.4 mm.
Edit the Braille text: Select "Use surface" and "Added". Edit "Depth" for exampel 0.4 mm.
Select "Slice now".
For example you start printing with color black.
Goto the gCode Preview and add a color change for example to white at the layer where the readable text is shown first time.
And add a second color change for example back to black at the layer where Braille text is shown first time.
Select "Slice now", export the gCode and print it.
Braille.3mf: All above settings are done.
Braille_0.2mm_PLA_MINI_19m.gcode: Prinable gCode for Prusa mini.
In the picture I have choosen green and yellow filament instead of black and white.
