I really liked the model this was based on, but it needed LED Light pipes IMO.

I really liked the model this was based on, but it needed LED Light pipes IMO. I've also made the buttons bigger and fully supported - now they move consistently straight up/down. I've also made it snap together a bit nicer, so it's not fully reliant on being press fit. The Screen surround also fits better.

I recommend you print:

  • The light pipes lying on their side in clear PETG.
  • The Case itself in eSun PLA+ in Bone White.
  • The Buttons upside down with a brim.

Of the available Floppy Emu cases, this one looks the most like something Apple might've produced. That said, it needed some fixing to work with the new rev. C Floppy Emu with its MicroSD slot and OLED readout. The seemingly large hole in the right side is so you can swap cards without tools, unless your fingers are even fatter than mine. :) The hole for the display was also resized and brought closer to it, as I suspect the OLED is a fair bit thinner than the LCD used in older models.
