Soap box with separated hinges for increased stability and layer alignment. Box can be folded open completely and thus takes less space on the counter.
Hinge pins are raw filament cut to pieces. Depending on how well your filament is dialed in, the hinge pin is either a tight friction fit, or you need to drill it out and weld it in place with a soldering iron.
I used 82A TPU raw filament as gasket welded together with a lighter and the excess cut flush. Err on the short side as it's a tight fit and this will make it easier to squish it in. The gasket should sit slightly below the surface so the lid is properly guided when closed.
