I like to make laser cut toy vehicles for my grandchildren. Making laser cut wheels is ok but really a better option was to design 3D printable wheels which add a little realism. The hubs I made fro PLA silk and have a 4.5 mm hole which when printed fits nicely on tent peg axles which are cheap to buy. The tyres I made from TPU with the same inner profile as the hub so they are a tight fit. Place the tyres in hot water and they will then push fit onto the hubs. I have included 2 sizes. One with an outer diameter of 40mm and the other is 55mm for larger models.
