Simplified Ornithopter Model by Leonardo Da Vinci Ornithopter with Chibi Leo
Hi guys! I tried to create a simplified model of an ornithopter that can fly (glide).
The wing should slide into the tail with a little force. Unfortunately, the model is too light for the front, so if you want to use the model as a glider, you need to load the front (e.g. plasticine). For loading you can use the Chibi Leo I made in Blender (This is my first character I modeled, so sorry for the imperfections). I used glue to attach Leo.
Print settings
Layer hight: 0,1 mm (Wing and Tail) and 0,15 mm for Leo (Although here it is only about quality)
I used supports for the tail and Leo.
Material: PLA
Be careful when removing the wing and tail, most of the surface is only one layer....
