MacBook Pro Stand

A simple stand to hold your MacBook Pro in clamshell mode.

Update:

I created arms and a set of longer legs (both labeled starting with [v2]) to give the stand some more stability.

  • Version 1 Legs including stand: 77.43mm wide
  • Version 2 Legs including stand: 102.30mm wide

The arms including the stand are 77.43mm wide.

The longer legs and added arms really help it feel more stable. The arms and both version of legs fit on the same stand.

I've uploaded the .f3d file if anyone wants to remix it for other devices.

Note: The picture shows a 16“ 2021 MacBook Pro, but it should hold any of the retina series on forward.

Print Settings

Everything was printed with a 0.4mm nozzle, 0.28mm layer height, 15% infill at 250mm/s on an AnkerMake M5. No supports or brims are needed. Each of the .stl's are oriented properly and should be ready to be sliced and printed.

Adhesion Issues?
Try printing with a 8-10mm brim.

Quality Issues?
Try printing at a slower speed (start decreasing the speed by 10-15mm/s).
