This is a 2-piece magnetic hygrometer holder for the DOOMAY Mini Hygrometer from Amazon (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0B1DJ7LMB).
I found that these mini hygrometers were more accurate and cheaper than the black round or rectangular models.
The hygrometer has vents in the back and the top, which I left exposed by minimizing the case thickness and leaving an opening on top of the model.
The 2 pieces are held together with 8 total magnets. An earlier version only used 4 magnets and was not stable in a vertical orientation. The unit would slide down the door from vibrations. These are 10mm x 3mm magnets. The magnets should be a tight fit and should not require any adhesive. I used smooth-jaw pliers to press each magnet into place.
I am using this on my Bambu Labs X1 Carbon. I have tested it on the glass door and the glass top panel. For my use case, I am leaving it on the glass top panel. However, with the additional magnets, it should also work on the door.
