If you're looking for a cheap and decent solution for lighting up your longboard, I've got something for you. Buy a cheap H05A headlight and print out this adapter to put it on your board.
The H05A is a huge bang for the buck, costs around 15 EUR, shines like hell and has many features that make it an ideal candidate for a lot of use cases. You can read my praise of the headlight here on my blog.
You can use it for both front and rear illumination; if you want to make it the rear light, simply put a red film over it.
You'll need 2× M3x12 (or longer) screw and nut for putting the two parts together. Supportless print.
