This is a remix of an original Balloon Helicopter, but without a need of straws. The wings have adjustable mechanism to enable rotation
There are 2 parts:
- helicopter
- balloon connector - inserted into helicopter part
How to use:
- Print both parts, if you haven't already printed original balloon helicopter
- If you have balloon connector from original balloon helicopter, it can be used here
- Wings can be rotated - adjust wings to a certain degree - optimal is one rotation: 30deg.
- Blow the balloon and connect to helicopter
- Have fun!
Optimal print settings:
- .2mm layer height on .4mm nozzle
- at least 3 perimeters (walls, top, bottom)
- turn off build plate adhesion so the helicopter can fit to plate
- make sure you have good tolerances (.3mm) or the wings will merge with the base
- you could use a smaller model from this to test tolerances
- should print for about 1h30min
