After a crash with my AtomRC Seal, the latch that secures the hatch was nowhere to be found, so I modeled up this little replacement. you need:
- M3 threaded rod cut around 35mm. I cut down an M3 bolt I had
- 1x M3 nut
- 1x 7/32"x11/16" compression spring (part of Harbor Freight Item 67562 Spring Assortment)
- Adhesive
The latch is a little finicky to put together, but does the job. Assemble the latch first, then glue it in. Take care not to get glue on the spring mechanism. You'll need to cut out a channel on the original latch spot towards the front for this to fit (don't worry, this is stronger than that ripped out bridge of Styrofoam anyhow).
