This washer will fit 1/8" steel pop rivets and help spread out the pressure if the material is soft. In my case I was making costume sign boards for a play my kids were in and the washers you can buy in store weren't as wide as I'd like. These are about the size of a nickel and I can change filament instead of having to spray paint metal ones.
