This is a component for my tool storage/support system designed in Fusion 360. It is a spring loaded support to accommodate certain tools that are difficult to hang by other means. The jaws usable opening range is about 1/8" (3mm) to ¾" (20mm). The support comes with two base plates. The flat one can be attached directly to a wall surface with a center screw. The other one has dove tails which attaches to my original grid support system (see below).
If you use the direct wall mount base plate, you can scale the model up to accommodate
heavier and wider objects.

I have printed this support in PLA. Please note that the tolerances for the hexagonal spring mount are tight. Therefore, a small amount of sanding might be needed to fit the spring on the shaft. Also, the rings of the springs may become stuck after printing. However, in my experience, it's not difficult to break them apart.
