I like to clone the heritage trees around my neighborhood that look like they might not last much longer. Since this often involves visiting locations where I don't have quick access to tools, I wanted a way to easily and quickly check the progress of the clones without dismantling the bulb every time.
This cloning bulb solves the problem with two screw-on caps on both sides so you can easily check on the root progress without removing the bulb. It will work on branches with about a 1.5cm diameter. However, the root chamber may be a little small for a clone from a branch that size, so I may rebuild it for a smaller branch.
Print two of each of the model files. Use the clamps to secure both sides around the branch.
