Current status of the project:
- The holder for the paint reservoir looks stable and good. Multiple length and types of arms could be printed from here: https://www.printables.com/model/185322-modular-mounting-system-arms-customizable/files
- The paint bottle cap/roller seems to be ok, it could be adapted to different types of paints
- We have an openscad script to generate the actual stamps to be fastened to the bike wheel.
The problem is that the stamps/paint combination doesn't work well. The paint is too thick or stamps material is not right. Too much paint or too few makes the painting unreadable.
Stamps materials tested:
- PLA
- PLAFlex
- Linoleom
Paints tested:
- Gouache paint
- Stamps ink
Had no luck with these…
