I wanted to design something to hold a pole on top of my picnic table and found falconphysics' V-Groove Table Clamp to be the closed to what I had in mind. Remixed it a bit to suit my need:
Chopped off the top part.
Change size of the opening to clamp onto the table. Now suitable for table thickness of 33mm or less.
Split the screw so they can be printed flat. This is the best design and orientation to print a strong fully formed screw I know. Use a drop of super-glue if you want, but the 2 halves will be held together when assembled so it's optional.
