So the v400 is a great machine. Ive printed a lot of stuff on mine. a lot of BIG prints too.. which is my favorite part! Anyhow, one downfall thats common is the start code on them, because it allows your printer to heat up while sitting directly over top the center of the bed..
This is a dumb process because it makes a mess on your freshly prepped bed… so.. I just changed my startup code to make it warm up and ooze over near the edge of the bed where it starts its purge line! And just as the printer begins to move it'll pop that ooze off and make a purge line. BINGOOO!!!
Simply download the pdf file, and insert that GCODE into your startup gcode section!
!!((WARNING))!! This startup code is for prusa slicer.. It can work with the Cura (barf…) but it'll need changed. I dont have cura installed anymore so I cant easily change it and upload it… but im sure someone else can .
