This one : 42 Rosetta Cube

After the destruction of our civilization, this cube will help future generations by providing the Answer in multiple systems :

  • Hindu-Arabic numerals (that is, "standard" numerals)
  • Chinese (simplified)
  • Tamil
  • Hebrew
  • simple counting
  • binary

The choice of Chinese, Tamil, and Hebrew was an attempt to choose systems with broad usage; I am not fluent in any of these systems so I apologize in advance for any errors.

Print instructions

Print in PLA using the provided 3mf files; otherwise :

Files are provided for 100% and 75% sizes. I opted to print at 75% size because it uses half the filament and print in half the time of the 100% size.

I experimented with many different infill options, but finally decided on 5% 3D Honeycomb as providing the best support for the top side with the minimal amount of filament usage.

I recommend printing with the "simple counting" (42 squares) side down.
