I really like this catchphrase, and I told myself "Hey, it splits pretty well into sub-parts, so why not include it on lock laces ?!".
Since I don't walk around often with my printer in the street, this way I can wink at other PRUSA users whenever I go out ;) (not so much this year unfortunately).
I printed the parts with Prusament orange PETG and applied black ink on the letters of the catchphrase. For the "Prusa research" ones, I painted around the lettters with black acrylic painting.
I looked for a way to make these multi-material printable but unfortunately, because the letters are so small, I don't think it would be easily doable with a 0.4mm nozzle.
Print instructions
Print the parts as they open in PrusaSlicer (vertically). No supports needed.
I recommand to use theses settings:
- 0.15mm layer height
- Detect thin wall disabled
- Only retract when crossing perimeters enabled
in order to avoid a lot of unnecessary retractions
