At work, we have an old Cincinnati Horizontal CNC machine that always had problems with breaking the HSK 63 tool magazine pockets that hold the tools to be pulled in on tool changes. The operator of the machine asked me to try and make a replacement part. I was able to reverse engineer a working part to replace a $1500 part that takes 6-8 weeks to get, due to the machine being so old. It was so successful that our cooperate headquarters started printing them on their industrial Stratasys printer. Originally printed from PETG, and now they are printed from CF-Nylon. Cost reductions of roughly 90-95%!

Must be printed out of a chemically resistant and tough material like PETG, Nylon, CPE, or similar. Due to the environment it is in (oils, greases, coolants, aluminum chips). Supports needed, infill at least 25% for added strength, 3 or more perimeters.
