The aim was to make 3D top and paper walls that's quick to pop up and doesn't take up storage space. Not sure if I want to take this further as it was more work than I imagined. I'd imagined, hex, L and H shaped buildings.
This is the 2nd iteration
Instructions for the card;
- Print at 100% on medium gsm satin paper.
- Before cutting put a point thought the black fold lines or hold it up to the light and make with a pen
- Flip the sheet and use a ruler and blunt object like a roller pen to score between points, making for precise folds
- Now cut out the printed art
- Fold along the score lines
- To avoid a cut edge showing, the part mark A is folded 180 and glued to its self
- The part mark B is then glued to the back of A
- The part is now read to insert into the 3D top, friction should hold it

If you want to design your own printed art each paper face needs to be about 37mm wide.
