Clip On Lower Chain Guide for OneUp Bash Guards

I designed this lower chain guide to clip onto your existing OneUp Components bashguard, this chain guide is a sleek and effective addition to your bike. It mounts easily by replacing the bolt retention clip on your OneUp bash guard.

I have included models that work for chain rings ranging from 30t, 32t, 34t,  and 36t for those on DH bikes. I also included an easily editable “blank” for the retention clip for anyone wanting to remix. 

I have tested this guide for awhile, and I've noticed fewer dropped chains on rougher sections of trail. This guide is designed to sit above the bottom edge of the bash guard, so an impact hitting the guard typically wont' break the guide. If this guard does ever break, it's super quick and easy to print another.

It also doesn't add any extra chain drag.

PRINT SETTINGS

• Print in PLA+ or something else strong
• use 3 or more walls
• infill percentage doesn't really matter, as if you use 3 walls most of the print will be solid
• use supports
• use 50% fan, and slower print speed for a stronger print.

INSTALLATION

• take the OneUp bashguard of your bike
• use a 4mm allen key to push out the stock retention clip
• install the chain guide the same way you would install the retention clip. hook the top of the guide onto the indent in the guard, and push the pin into the hole in the 5mm bolt. 
• reintall your bashguard 
• rotate the guard, so the back edge of the guide is as far back as possible, without interfering with the chain
