This tiered challenge coin display stand can be customized to hold a variety of challenge coins. The following parameters are used in the .f3d file. The .stl file has the settings listed as “default”.
| Parameter | Description | Default |
|---|---|---|
width | full width of the stand | 160 mm |
num_rows | # of rows/tiers for coins | 5 |
row_depth | front-to-back depth of each row | 15 mm |
first_row_height | how tall the front row should be | 10 mm |
rise_between_rows | height distance from one row to the next | 8 mm |
notch_depth | depth of notch that coins sit in | 5 mm |
notch_width | front-to-back width (slightly wider than coins) | 4.5 mm |
notch_tilt_deg | how many degrees to tilt the notch so coins lean back | 5 deg |
fillet | fillet size for top edges | 1 mm |
If you change the number of rows, you will probably need to re-run the last two features in the timeline (extrude & fillet) by right-clicking each feature, select Edit Feature, and click OK.
