This is for the Fast operation vise. I added a hex head to the long version of the handle so it can be driven by a drill or an electric screwdriver using a 10 mm (3/8 inch in dodo units) hex socket. Only uses a few extra grams of filament.
My screws came out too tight, so I wanted to use a drill to drive the vise a few times to loosen it up. You can also use it if you are too impatient to turn it manually. Of course, don't drive it too hard.
Settings
- Print upright without supports. Enable brim if needed.
- In your slicer, you can add a small mesh modifier to the hex head area and increase its infill percent to strengthen that part.
