This is a fun tissue box holder that looks like a rocket!

This is my entry to the tissue box cover competition. This cover mounts to the wall with 2 screws.

It's designed for the standing tissue boxes. The dimensions of the tissue box should be within 120 x 120 x 135 mm

Printing recommendations

rocketTop

for rocketTop, I recommend printing it hollow. I found lightning infill was suitable for this print. I also recommend a brim and paint on supports for the arch where the window goes.

I also highly recommend adding some color changes on the top half to give the model some color. I found red and silver to be a good combo for this print, but you can use any color combo you want. Regardless, if you do print this, please post a make! I would love to see it

rocketBottom

this part has limited contact area with the bed for how big it is, so I highly recommend using a big brim. I don't recommend using lightning infill for this part, but use as little as possible to cut down on material and time use. I found that 10% support cubic was adequate.

For under the fins, you have a few options

  1. print at a smaller layer height
  2. use prusaslicers variable layer height feature
  3. use paint on supports (what I did)

the first 2 will look nicer at the cost of time. I found that supports were good enough

thruster

the thruster is a simple print. You probably don't need a brim for this part, but better safe than sorry. I also recommend a smaller layer height or using variable layer height for the small ridges.

window & pin

these are also pretty straightforward. Just add a color change for the dome. The pin is not seen, so color doesn't matter.

Mounting

Here are the dimensions for the mount. You can also print the guide piece to make it easier to space the screws correctly. The guide also has lines for leveling.

Currently, this model can only be mounted on a wall, but in the future I may add a stand (let me know if you would be interested in that)
