Simple cover for the original Raspberry Pi PoE Hat - or a Raspberry Pi PoE Hat Hat. Will not work with the new PoE+ hat that has a different design.
The exposed transformer on the RPI PoE hat was always scary to me, especially in my busy lab where things are always moving around. My current case does not protect the hat, especially when I am also using a spacer and a heatsink underneath.
I made this simple cover that can be secured with some M2.5x8MM screws to the standoffs below, protecting the sensitive parts of the hat.
Fusion file is attached if you'd like to tweak it.
This model is totally pointless unless you're someone like me, whose Pi predates ownership of a 3d printer. Rather than print a whole case/reassemble my Pi, I was able to add some protection while my Pi was up and running :). Uptime Über Alles!
