Basicly i really wanted Doug Marcaidas karamball as a fidget spinner/keychain type of thing, i do fidgety things a lot when thinking or extremely bored. The problem was the shipping, import tax and the actual price of the product, so i designed my own (with a lot of help from a friend and https://www.thingiverse.com/waessman) and spent weeks trying to perfect the print as much as possible.

Unlike the original this one could technicly be used for self defense by a trained individual if you up the infill to say 80%, therefore use it with caution and i will not be held responsible for how it is applied or used by other people.

I still recommend you buying Doug Marcaida's Karamball at the link below, this was just a test for myself and a solution to a problem.

Resolution:

Notes:

May need at least a brim (depending on the surface you print on), supports is a must as you should print it sideways.

Has been tested with 0.16mm layer height, may work better with 0.12mm (0.2mm is highly discouraged due to losing a lot of the rounding inside the handle ring, which also doubles as attachment point for your keys). I added my profiles used for the optimized settings for this print (in my case), change it at will to improve print quality.

Post-Printing

Finishing

I highly recommend you sanding it after printing to get rid of sharp edges, especially the handle and inner dimension of the ring. (Ball should be sanded too in case you want it to look prettier, but its not a must.)
