I needed a layout T Square for locating the stencil on a prepared screen (screenprinting) and ordered one on Amazon ($20), but then realized it would take over a week to get here.
Instead, I got a cheap hardware store yardstick and built a T Square end for it (a couple of hours programming (I am a novice) and a few hours printing and it came out perfectly… I expected to have to glue the yardstick (1.139" x .14") into the slot, but it's a good, tight, press fit.
My first remix (included in the files here) was to make the yardstick bottom out in the slot at the 2" mark to make layout calculations easier.
I print tools with a .6 tip and .4 layer height at 235 or 240 degrees and the Gcode file here (for an Ender 3) reflects that as well as 5 layer skin
