This simple rack design (using 2x) fits the handle diameter for the lightsabers made at Savi's Workshop in Disney World. My son and I both made lightsabers while on vacation and I made these racks to display them back home.
Due to the weight of the handle and how lightweight the blade itself is, we hold the lightsaber horizontally and it balances quite well. The support area is 2.0" in diameter and fits both my son's and my lightsaber well, as the handles are standardized (Sith and Jedi, in this case).
