NOTE: Parkside X20V batteries do NOT contain over-discharge protection (it's located inside the tools), so beware what you use it for!

I use it for the Pinecil soldering iron, which happens to have protection build-in, so that is an example of a good fit.

I've added a top version that supports thicker wires.

This is a mixture of two other adapters. The benefit is that this one locks to the battery, only needs one screw, standard terminals and optionally a bit of hot-glue.

For the thin version I actually skipped the hot-glue as my wires were thick enough that the terminals were not moving much.

Additional items needed:
2 pcs male spade crimp terminals
1 M3 10 mm screw

Assembly instructions:

  1. Print both parts. Tip: If possible print the smaller part on a textured sheet to get better grip!
  2. Crimp wires to terminals
  3. Insert smaller part into battery
  4. Insert terminals into battery ENSURE THAT THE WIRES CANNOT SHORT CIRCUIT!
  5. Align correctly, ensure that cover will fit
  6. OPTIONAL: Use hotglue to fix crimped terminals in position
  7. Wait to cool
  8. Mate both pieces with the screw, don't fasten completely, yet
  9. Insert into battery
  10. Fasten screw completely

Again: Make sure the wires don't short circuit while the adapter is inserted and ensure that you don't over discharge the battery, as there is no under voltage protection built into the battery!
