For my Voron V2.4 150mm build I wanted a pitft 50 display.
There was no design I liked, so I created a new one. I didn't want the display in the skirt, that's why I designed a universal hinge that can be mounted to any 2020 (in my case 2040) extrusion. Also I wanted a clean look and no screws at the front.
What you'll need:
- 7 voron typical heatset inserts (M3x5x4)
- 8 M3x8 or M3x10 button head screws
- 1 M3x40 button head screw
- 2 spring loaded t-nuts or regular t-nuts
- some 1-3mm foam tape
For assembly I made some screenshots, I think it's pretty self-explanatory. Only thing to mention, put the foam tape on the red highlighted areas of the back part, this will put some pressure to the display.
Please make sure your printer is well tuned, the hinge is very tight.
