I found that the layers didn't hold together as well as I would have liked, so I modified the original Inner Level to have a 10mm magnet space in the center rather than 6mm. This of course requires you to buy two different sized magnets as the rest of the magnets are all 6mm, but there's definitely a bit more pull in the center so things feel a bit more solid.
There was a bit of a distortion in the model during the conversion and the outer edges are "indented" by just a bit, but that does not effect function at all. Everything works as expected and makes for a perfectly playable setup.
