Nothing too exciting, just a 140mm blocking square with 20MM intervals for the 3mm holes.  Modeled a matching blocking peg with a handle and tapered end to fit securely into whatever pattern you are using.  The ‘knob’ is mainly there to make the peg printable.  I did use a brim for even better odds of the pegs staying securely fastened to the plate.

If there is enough interest I may do a square peg version of this so that the pegs can lay flat.

By request, I have added the ability to chain these blocks together for larger projects.  No change to the crochet pegs at this point.  I'd wanted to do something creative and make the connectors an actual butterfly shape, but quickly realized it would be too limiting as far as how you would connect other blocks and went with the more neutral X pattern that works from any direction.

I did add an embossed butterfly version of the blocking square itself just for fun.  For multicolor printers, just paint the butterfly object in a contrasting color and it should come out well.  For manual dual color printing, in PrusaSlicer right click on the butterfly block, choose ‘split’ and ‘to objects’.  That will separate the butterfly from it's block and gives you the option of just the subtly embossed butterfly, or you can print it separately and tap it gently into it's embossed spot with a rubber mallet.  (Or however you prefer to seat things in place.  I like mallets so…)

The connectors should fit snugly in the bottom with no issues, however depending on what nozzle size you print them with, you may need to scale up or down by 1% or so to get the fit that works best for you.
