This is an old design of mine from a high school science competition.

  • 45% infill

Head

  • 4 walls
  • 90% infill

Body

Tools needed

  • Superglue

  • Flush cutters

Other parts needed

  • Guitar/Balalaika strings (While proper balalaika strings can be used for this instrument and tuned to EEA, standard guitar strings can also be used and tuned to GBE)
  • Guitar tuners for 10mm diameter mounting hole
  • 8x 4mm diameter 18 cm long stainless steel rods
  • 2x m3x8 screws

Assembly

Superglue the parts of the body together. The bridge can be screwed into the holder with the m3 screws.

To attach the neck to the body, there is a puzzle piece shaped connector. This may require a lot of sanding, and when that is done, insert the bottom neck piece into place.

Insert the metal tubes into the bottom neck piece, and slide on the top neck piece while putting super glue in between them.

Insert more metal tubes, and slide on the head while putting super glue in between the neck and head.

Attach the tuners into the holes in the head with superglue.
