Gird (verb): Encircle (a person or part of the body) with a belt or band.
The Isengird is a simple ring storage/organization tower inspired by Orthanc, the tower of Isengard ruled by Saruman in JRR Tolkien's “Lord of the rings”. Give old Saruman your rings.. for safe-keeping, of course…
- Simplified design with minimal details for an easy print while still reminiscent of the original
- Measures approx 12 cm tall and 8 cm in diameter - should be printable on any FDM or SLA printer
- Designed to be printed without supports, rafts/skirts, or anything else fancy - to be accessible to beginners
Recommended settings for PLA:
- Line height: 0.2-0.3 mm (if your printer struggles with the overhangs at the top, try 0.2, otherwise go for a 0.3 for a faster print)
- Perimeters: 2 / Skin layers: 3-4 (depending on line height)
- Low infill - 10% is enough
