Thread has been made stronger and made more easy to place the bottle. The bracked now has an extra screw hole and fits better with the bath.
Description:
New version of the automatic bath. Fits standard soda bottles for automatic refilling. The bracket is optional but recommended to keep the water clean for as long as possible. The bracket has a width of 40 mm for mounting on a wooden stand or a wall. The depth of the bath is around 25 mm.
Designed for birds but can also be used for pets or to help wild animals during hot summers :)
Print settings (recommended):
gcode has been uploaded for Ender 3(V2) with the settings mentioned below. Not sure if this can be used on other printers as well.
Bracket:
- infill: 50%
- supports on with normal settings for best result
Bath:
- infill: 20% (no gyroid as this will fill the entire print with water in case of a leak! Cubic is recommended as this has seperate spaces)
- infill at the part with thread: 50%
- use support blocker for the thread!
- layer height: 0.2 mm
- number of walls: 4 (to ensure the bath is watertight)
- support type: tree (for easier removal)
- support angle: 60°
- fuzzy skin on the edges of bath for more grip for the birds
You might want to increase the nozzle temperature with 10° to ensure the bath will be watertight.
