A minimalistic headphone stand.

There are two versions:

  1. With round pipes (Labeled “ROUND”)
  2. Alternative: more rectangular (Labeled “RECTANGULAR”)

I prefer the aesthetics of the ROUND version, but this version takes a bit longer to print.

The RECTANGULAR version is a bit faster to print, but requires a more complex slicing including supports. You may also notice a weird transition between the lower and the upper part as they are printed in different directions.

Both fit on Prusa Mini.

ROUND Version

This is a three-part design and thus needs to be separated within the slicer first (click on “separate to objects”).

All three parts can be printed upright; no supports needed.

To put the parts together, you may use a bit of glue (e.g. hot glue) to stick the parts together. Make sure to align all parts perfectly while the glue is hardening. The connections are not circular so they only fit if aligned correctly, but the tolerances are not super tight and there is some play.

RECTANGULAR Version

This is a two-part design and thus needs to be separated within the slicer first (click on “separate to objects”).

The lower part can be printed upright. The upper part is best printed on its side with painted-on-supports for the little nub on the bottom. See the photos to get an idea on how to align them best.

To put the two parts together, you may use a bit of glue (e.g. hot glue) to stick both parts together. Make sure to align both parts perfectly while the glue is hardening. The connections are not cubic so they only fit if aligned correctly, but the tolerances are not super tight and there is some play.
