The mounting kit is no longer made, but the computer still works fine. Why throw it out?
You need some thin tinned wire to make the contacts. Solder quickly with good no-wash flux so the plastic doesn't have time to melt. It's fine - just don't solder it with the computer in! The springs push on the contacts.
It's advisable to cover the solder joints with hotsnot glue for some weather protection.
The eye on the bottom fits two normal or one thick zip ties. Use a piece of old tube as anti-slip under the mount.
The computer holds in well even without a retention clip (like it was on the original mount)
Print from PETG, as is - front side up, supports under the zip-tie eye. This way you get the strongest print.
