Made for PolyMaker's Vasemode competition, A storage box with lid with a castle look.
My Vase Mode Settings with a 0.6mm Nozzle!
NOTE: (if using a 0.4 Nozzlle use this for your Extrusion Width 0.80mm ( Extrudes 2x the 0.4mm nozzle width.)
Theses are the main settings to Change if your Using Simplify3D though it should be able to apply to most Slicers.
Under Layers Tab
Infill 0%
Primary layer Height 0.2800
Top solid Layers 0
Bottom Solid Layers 3
Outline/Perimeter shells 1
And put a tick in the box for Single Outline Corkscrew printing mode (Vase Mode)
First Layer Height 100%
First Layer Width 100%
First Layer Speed 50%
Extruder Settings
Extrusion Multiplier Set to 1.10 (This compensates for the extra line width.)
Extrusion Width 0.90mm ( Nozzle Used 0.6mm.)
Speeds
Default Print Speed 60.0mm/s
Outline Underspeed 50%
Speed Overrides Setting
Ticked Adjust printing speed for layers below 15.0 sec
Allow Speed reduction down to 70%
