This is a cheap and easy-to-build telescope that I designed for one of my 6th-grade students last year. In the one in the picture I used ¾" wooden dowel rods, but you can use whatever works. The eyepiece was the only nonoriginal part and I took it from geekysalty on Thingiverse. The mirror was bought on Amazon the link is below. For the eyepiece, any would work that fits. I modeled this on onshape, so anyone may copy and make changes.
Like all telescope builds it is important to measure the focal length of your mirror as it will determine the length of your telescope.
