Bee feeder reusing a common PET bottle as a reservoir. Just fill it up with water, sugar water or whatever your specific neighbours appreciate.
My settings in PrusaSlicer using PETG and a 0.4mm nozzle:
- Should print well without support
- Layer Height: 0.2mm
- Perimiter walls: 3
- Bottom Layers: 5
- Perimiter Generator: Classic (Using Arachne left me with gaps in the outer walls and some of the small hexagons)
- Detect Thin Walls: Yes
- External Perimeters First: Yes
- Perimiters: 0.5mm
- Top Fill Pattern: Aligned Recilinear
- Fill Angle: 30
The final beauty fix was adding a modifier on top of the three smallest hexagon peices close to the middle, forcing these to have only 1 perimiter. This removed the last of the gaps for me.
