While building my Voron V2.4, I found it necessary to turn the printer on it's side to access the electronics. The first time I had to do this after mounting the skirts, as I was rotating it, I heard a loud crack. After reprinting the skirt that broke because it sticks out past the edge, I started lifting the printer off the bench and rotating it so the skirt was off the bench, saving the newly printed skirt. After having to do this a few time, I dawned on me to add some feet with a pivot point to assist moving the printer.
These can be printed with pretty much any filament as long as the infill is high enough to provide enough strength to support the printer's weight. I printed mine with ASA at 20% infill and 4 top and bottom layers with 3 perimeters. They are mounted with M5x16 screws and hammerhead nuts. They can be easily removed when your build is finished.
