Convert a USA Trains GP&/9 to a GP7B/GP9B
JTT products 97457 O Scale Tread Plate is a near perfect match.
The porthole windows have a recess inside to accommodate the width of a standard Microscope slide or a (22mx22m) slip if you don't want to cut.
