I recently purchased a Sage Oracle Touch Cofffee Machine.
I wanted to experiment with single dosing but could not find exacTLC what i was looking for so came up with this .
The idea is I want to keep as much as possible standard but have option to experiment.
These parts should also work well with the oracle machine as it has same grinder setup.
essentially there are three printed parts.
- A TPU Gasket that fits inside part 2
- A PLA Lid that replaces the standard Lid that comes with the hopper
- A TPU Bellows that goes into the lid and is removable for dosing.
I set my tamp fan to dose normally 21/22 grams if using stored coffee in the hopper.
When I want to single dose I just weigh out 20 grams and grind until hopper is empty using the bellows to push out as much coffee as possible into the portafilter.
The tamp fan still does a reasonable job but I usually finish the prep manaully.
There are two bellows in the project a thick wall and a thin wall. i have used both and its possible to reduce top and bottoms if you wish. also yopu could add a air hole in the top of the bellows but I found it was not reallly needed.
