A simple Shell that can be screwed onto cupboard doors, to free the space in front of the door.
This model was specifically designed for use with the IKEA NYSJÖN - washingmashine cupboard, but will fit on different structures too.
This model consists of 4 files, two files for the bottom shell and two files for the top railing.
Build:
Both parts can be connected with the printed dove-tail joints, they may need some post-processing, depending on your print-settings.
I found that the railing joint can use a touch of super-glue on the dove-tail joint as well as along the joint itself.
Mounting:
The shell is designed to be screwed on from the front. The triangle-slots make place for a screwdriver to reach the screw-holes. Pilot-holes in the wood are recommended.
The Railing is designed to be screwed in from the back of the cupboard. There are two holes intended for Ruthex M3 threaded-inserts. Holes need to be drilled through the cupboard-door, optionally you can screw a bigger indent on the inside, so the screw-heads will sit flush.
