I've seen a few other models on here and wanted to print, but wanted to make my own around the mirrors i bought. I didn't want a HUGE clock, but not tiny either.

Nothing too difficult to do here. The hexagon model is has a max width of 180mm so it can be printed on most printers. I was going to do single hexagons, but this speeds up the printing process.

Print 6 Mirror Hex and 1 Clock Center. The clock center will have 3 little supports inside the keyholes, pull these out when finished printing.

I would advise to cut all of the INSIDE touching corners on the hexagons and clock center flush. Unless your printer prints totally smooth 90degree corners. If you put them together with those bulging corners it will cause gaps and the won't align completely 100%.

Glue them all together.

I used regular super glue for the acrylic mirrors. A drop in each hexagon corner will hold fine. Once all the mirrors are glued in, install the clock mechanism and hour\min\sec hands.

Once it's all put together and running, THEN you can remove the protective film from the mirrors.

These are cheap acrylics and will scratch EASILY. Fingers are difficult to remove without scratching, even with microfiber.

I would have preferred to use glass, but i could not find a cheap source. It won't be touched while on the wall so it doesn't matter to me. My GF is the astronomy fan that loves the JWST and the images it's producing.

Edit:

My jerk settings were 25mm while print speed is 50mm with a .4mm head. This gave me very square corners that allowed for near perfect gluing. Except where seams where. I just shaved those down with an exacto blade.
