I wanted my BoomToob to fire rivals (because they're just fun).
So i made 3 full-size rival shells plus one half-size, which requires the shell-adapter:
- Shell_Rival: Simple full-size rival shell. Just print and play
- Shell_Rival_Barrel: full-size rival shell that uses a 25x1.5mm aluminium tube as a barrel.
Prints in three parts, between each part the barrel is held in place with a 20x1mm o-ring and 3x m3x16mm (up to m3x25mm) screws. Slightly better performance than the simple barrel. Hits a bit harder than the fully printed shells. - Shell_Rival_HopUp: experimental full-size rival shell with a TPE hopup-tab in the front. Locks into place with the same tabs as the shell-adapter. NOT YET TESTED!
- HalfShell_Rival: Simple rival shell for use with the barrel-adapter. Less print time, less material needed, works great.
Warning: due to the size of the airhole of the shells and the plunger-cap the rival balls can be sucked into the plunger tube. I fixed this issue in my BoomToob remix parts.
